Who am I?
As you might have realized, there is not a big company behind this, it's a one person passion idea and I would like to share who I am and what I've done in the past. I was born in a charming village in the Czech Republic, where I spent my early years before moving to Brno for my studies. Later, driven by both love and work, I moved to Slovakia. After a few years, my girlfriend and I decided to start a new chapter in the Netherlands, where we've been living happily for the past three years. During our time here, we got married and even bought our own home. While we absolutely love our life in the Netherlands and have no plans to move back, a piece of my heart will always remain tied to the places where I've spent most of my life.
At 26, I've been working in the IT world for quarter of my life and I have a feeling that it's time to change that up a bit. I've always been driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, exploring various business ventures. My idea isn't a typical one; it's a personal passion project to bring a taste of my homeland to the Netherlands.

Korbáčikárna - my experience
The inspiration for this venture came from a personal place: my wife, who was born in the Slovak region of cheese-making, introduced me to their ways and I loved the products ever since. My first realization that this could be an actual business happened after I have brought some to my family as a gift.
Even though it's well known in Czechia, buying a high quality version directly from the region of origin is difficult. Because everybody loved it, the demand has quickly grown over to other family members and friends. That's when I realized that I could be supplying the whole region, not just my closest relatives. This happened about 5 years ago.
After introduction of my web-shop and some marketing campaigns, I became an owner of a small, yet profitable business. I managed everything from importing and packaging to weekly deliveries and soon enough also market stalls accross several regional events. This hands-on experience provided invaluable insights into supplier relationships, customer preferences, and the logistics of dairy product distribution.
The positive feedback and repeat customers are a testament to the quality of the product and the effectiveness of the operation. Even though I had to stop my small business due to an opportunity in IT I decided to pursue, I still have several customers who order a few times in a year, which are now handled by my family.

What if?
That is the question I want to answer with this venture. Due to an opportunity in the IT sector I've closed my business before I moved to Netherlands. It's a decision I've often revisited, wondering 'what if?'. Now, after living here for three years, I find myself missing the unique flavors of my origins - they are nowhere to be found in such qualities! Even though my life now is significantly better and the quality of life is simply on another level, I still reminisce about my past, thinking what would've happened if I continued with my business.
That's why I want to see if its possible to offer these flavors in the country of cheese itself. This venture is a chance to rekindle that passion and share the authentic taste of Slovakia with a new audience, which will gain the same appreciation and love, that I have for these products.
